The House Urban Affairs Committee held an informational meeting concerning House Bill 1782, which would reform the real estate tax sale process.  Click here to watch.

The House Urban Affairs Committee voted to send a bill to the full House that will allow a city, county or borough with a population of at least 10,000 to establish a land bank. Land banks address blighted and abandoned properties and return them to productive use. Rep. Ross chairs the Urban Affairs Committee.
